Job Introduction
We are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing and well-presented individuals to join our Sessional Ceremonies Team to initially register marriages and civil partnerships with the potential to then conduct marriages.
Work will be offered on a rotational basis. Ceremonies are held 7 days a week and therefore successful applicants would need to be available for work any day of the week, including Bank Holidays. Successful applicants will need to be available for weekday training that will enable them to register ceremonies in the Register Office.
As you may be required to travel to various locations in Medway, the use of a car is essential. As part of the role a basic understanding of software packages i.e. email and internet will be necessary.
Applicants must hold/have the following:
- A good general level of education such as GCSE’s or equivalent
- Confidence to address the public in both small and large groups
- Demonstrable experience of working in a customer service environment
