Job Introduction
We are excited to be recruiting x3 Relief Support Workers on a casual basis, across the Short Breaks and Supported Living Services. The services provide care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, trauma or mental health conditions.
Flexibility is key and this role will provide variety as well as the opportunity to develop relationships within the existing staff teams. Due to the flexible nature of this role, a car driver is essential and applicants must hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
Every day could be different, from supporting someone to a GP appointment, researching employment options, rolling up your sleeves and supporting someone with cooking, cleaning and organising themselves. Or taking an active role within our CQC registered respite care provision.
You may be supporting someone with medication management/administration, including ordering and liaising with the pharmacy and recording medication on a MAR chart. Being a listening ear, giving advice and guidance as well practical support and liaising with other professionals.
If you are flexible, caring and compassionate then we would love to hear from you.
