Job Introduction

We are looking for two Youth Development Workers to join our team. Workers will be allocated to two of our area teams based on service need. Currently these roles will be allocated to the Gillingham and Twydall Team and the Luton and Rainham Team. 

You will be required to deliver youth work activities /programmes in line with the Youth Service curriculum, promoting personal and social development skills. You will work with young people aged 8 to 19 and with disabled people up to age 25.

Youth Development Workers MUST hold a ‘JNC recognised’ qualification such as BA (Hons) or Graduate Diploma – at level 6 in Youth Work.   

Experience of working with young people individually or in groups together with the ability to engage young people, establish rapport and maintain positive relationships is essential.

You will be required to work flexibly including evenings and weekends.
