The Medway Youth Service are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Youth Development Worker to support the Gillingham and Twydall area, working as part of a passionate team that delivers engaging activities and trusted support to young people. You’ll help run high‑quality sessions, build positive relationships, encourage personal and social development, and contribute creative ideas that inspire confidence and growth.
The role reports to a well‑established team known for placing young people at the centre of practice and offering strong support, leadership, and a wide range of youth‑focused provision across Medway. Ideal candidates bring good communication skills, experience working with young people, and the enthusiasm to make a positive difference, with flexibility to work varied hours and the opportunity to develop through training and team support.
