Following recent investment in additional management capacity across the service, we are now looking for a passionate Assistant Team Manager who can commit to making a difference to our children in Medway.
Reporting to a Team Manager, as an ATM you will lead and manage a small team of social workers and create a supportive and collaborative team environment. ATM’s are not case holding. You will deliver high quality supervision and support social workers in the management of cases ensuring that high quality practice is delivered to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people.
Whether you are an experienced social worker ready for the next step or an existing assistant team manager we’d like to hear from you. You will be joining an experienced and dedicated social work team who have relationship and strengths-based work with children and families at the core of their practice.
The successful post holder will be subject to a Enhanced Childrens’ DBS check.

Candidates will be offered a competitive basic salary between £47,435 - £52,920 dependant on your experience, and the potential to earn up to £61,920 per year when market premiums and retention are applied.

About You
- You will hold a recognised Social Work qualification eg. Degree in Social Work, PGC in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent and be registered with Social Work England.
- You will have successfully completed your ASYE.
- You will have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes (including business use for carrying passengers).
